Nobuyuki Suzuki and Anna Ishii will appear in TV TOKYO network Drama 9 "Keiji, Furidashi ni Modoru"
which will be aired from 4/17 (Fri.)!!

Anna Ishii plays Misaki Saeki, who is a reporter at a local newspaper office and lover of the protagonist Makoto Hyakutake. In her first life, soon after her split with Makoto Hyakutake after a quarrel, she gets involved in a criminal incident and dies.
Nobuyuki Suzuki plays Makoto Hyakutake's colleague Takashi Yoshioka, who entered the company at the same time with Makoto Hyakutake. In his first life, Takashi Yoshioka focuses on promotion and often has conflicts with Makoto Hyakutake. However, in his second life, the two gradually come to respect each other!!

When I read the script, I could not stop turning the pages.
As I followed the story with reborn Makoto Hyakutake, I verified the truth step by step while knowing the end of the case, which was a refreshing setting.
Furthermore, the story implies another major thread, giving it a depth that goes beyond being just a crime story.
I am really looking forward to seeing how this world will be built in scenes during the shoot.
Misaki Saeki is a woman with a strong sense of justice and conviction. Where does this sense of justice come from? Why is she so competitive? I want to carefully explore her background and inner conflicts while portraying this role with dedication.
Though it is a mystery drama, this work also carries a comical and surreal atmosphere.
Together with impressive cast members, I will go all out to bring you a compelling work.
I believe it is a story that you cannot take your eyes off until the end.

I was truly thrilled when it was confirmed that I would appear in the drama.
After reading the script, I felt it carefully depicted characters' rebirth and struggles, with the tension of investigating cases and the depth of human stories.
I think detective Takashi Yoshioka is a taciturn person but has a blue flame within. As the story unfolds, how will this character evolve? I will play this role wholeheartedly.
This work not only has the enjoyment of a suspense drama but also explores the significance of "starting over."
As we can live only once, I believe there is something valuable to learn from this story.
