"BATTLE OF TOKYO -Utsukushiki Uso-"
will be released in Grand Cinema Sunshine Ikebukuro and other theaters nationwide
on 1/23/2026 (Fri.)!!
The next-generation comprehensive entertainment project "BATTLE OF TOKYO" is launched by LDH JAPAN.
Set in a fictional futuristic city called "Chou Tokyo" and replacing the real LDH artists with virtual characters in a fictional world, the world's first "Mixed Reality Entertainment" project was born through crossing, infusing and expanding the real and virtual "worlds".
Selected music videos and live performance videos from the four past live shows have been meticulously re-edited and remixed. Additionally, they have been combined with new animated footage depicting the final chapter of the original novel "BATTLE OF TOKYO" (Kadokawa Bunko), which portrays the story of five teams composed of young people with special skills battling and forming bonds in a fictional futuristic city called Chou Tokyo. Moreover, all sounds have been remastered to 5.1 surround. Including all these, LIVE IN THEATER "BATTLE OF TOKYO -Utsukushiki Uso-" will be released in Grand Cinema Sunshine Ikebukuro and other theaters nationwide on 1/23/2026 (Fri.)!
Additionally, the movie will be shown as cheering screenings at all theaters nationwide (some theaters excluded)!
And pre-orders for original goods have started!
You can get deeper into the world of BATTLE OF TOKYO through a special viewing experience where all viewers at the venues are united into one by cheering and waving penlights!!

So far, Dai Sato, Souki Tsukishima and I have created "BATTLE OF TOKYO" through live performances, music videos, novels, etc.
From this work, "BATTLE OF TOKYO" will further evolve and move on to the next phase.
Under the title LIVE IN THEATER, we aim to allow many people to experience the charm of "BATTLE OF TOKYO" again. Therefore, we created new animations and re-edited music videos and live performance videos specifically for this movie.
