THE RAMPAGE's 27th single, new single "BLACK TOKYO", will be released on 5/20/2026 (Wed.)!
"BLACK TOKYO", the title song of this single, has been selected as the theme song for "TOKYO BURST -Hanzai Toshi-", a Japan-original story movie of the mega-hit series "The Roundup", which has been viewed by a total of 40 million people in South Korea!
"BLACK TOKYO" is a track where noisy and loud synth sounds and powerful rhythms create tension. Through its mysterious and grand chorus that evoke a chaotic city, it conveys suppressed emotions in a pitch-black world where lies and truths collide, the belief in one's own justice, and the determination to break through all obstacles.
RIKU, Hokuto Yoshino, Kenta Kamiya, YAMASHO, and Takahide Suzuki are the members who sing "BLACK TOKYO", while RIKU, Hokuto Yoshino, LIKIYA and Shohei Urakawa sing "Maverick" produced as the "Secondary Theme Song" for the movie. These two songs expand the range of THE RAMPAGE's expressiveness!
The editions containing videos include the music video for "BLACK TOKYO" and its making-of video. Centering around "light and shadow", the music video visualizes the members' determination and the impact in this song against the backdrop of a Tokyo dyed in black and red, where there is no justice and rules.
