2018.4.27"Inspire Japan by Dancing! Dream Extracurricular Lecture Rising Sun Project for Middle School Students 2018" starts!!
With EXILE ÜSA and TETSUYA as the project leaders,
"Inspire Japan by Dancing! Dream Extracurricular Lecture Rising Sun Project for Middle School Students" opening ceremony for 2018 was held at Kamaishi Higashi Middle School in Kamaishi City, Iwate Prefecture on 4/23 (Mon.)!
Started in 2012, "Rising Sun Project for Middle School Students" is a project
where middle school students in Tohoku region learn the dance of EXILE's reconstruction support song "Rising Sun" in about 3 months
and show their learning result on a grand stage.
As a surprise, EXILE ÜSA and TETSUYA visited Kamaishi Higashi Middle School
and offered a dance lesson of "Rising Sun" for all the 117 students of the school.
They even gave advice on the complicated leg movements in the chorus part which the students were having difficulties to master.
After the end of the lesson, they had a talk session about dreams
and received surprise present from the students at the end,
which was a powerful dance performance of a fishermen's song.
Kamaishi Higashi Middle School which they visited this time constructed a new school building last year.
"Kamaishi Unosumai Restoration Stadium (tentative name)" is currently being built at the former site of the school building.
A presentation session of "Rising Sun Project for Middle School Students" will be held at the completion ceremony in August.
In the next 3 months, the students will go all out to practice for the presentation session.
Please stay tuned for their growth!
