A dance and vocal group that inherited the spirits and beliefs of EXILE.
The five performers are the group's leaders EXILE NAOTO and Naoki Kobayashi, as well as ELLY, Kenjiro Yamashita, and EXILE's new member Takanori Iwata.
The vocalists are Ryuji Imaichi and Hiroomi Tosaka who was chosen in EXILE Presents VOCAL BATTLE AUDITION 2 ~To Young People with Dreams~.

J Soul Brothers III made their major debut with their 1st single "Best Friend's Girl" on November 10, 2010.
In 2012 J Soul Brothers III appeared for the first time on the stage of NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen with their single "Hanabi".
The best & original album released on the New Year's Day of 2014 has been topping the ORICON weekly charts for four weeks in a row, which became a brilliant achievement.
Moreover, they have drawn about 400,000 people in their live tour across 13 cities in 2014.
They also won the Japan Record Award with their 13th single "R.Y.U.S.E.I." that year. Its music video has been viewed over 100 million times on YouTube. They have made three consecutive appearances on Kohaku Uta Gassen and established a firm position in the Japanese music scene.

Held in 2015, their national dome tour J Soul Brothers III LIVE TOUR 2015 "BLUE PLANET" including live viewing attracted about 1,200,000 viewers.
Their 18th single "Summer Madness" won the Grand Prize of Japan Cable Awards. Following that, their 19th single "Unfair World" won the Japan Record Award, thus winning the "Japan Record Award" for two years in a row. They won a total of 23 awards in that one year.

In 2016, the group's first documentary film "Born in the EXILE" was released and attracted about 150 viewers across the country in the first three days after its release. It was shown for 6 months in more than 150 movie theaters in Japan and got a lot of attention.
In December, the annual ORICON rankings were announced, and they topped 4 rankings all at once, including the first top place of music video ranking as well as the first places in artist album sales, DVD and MUSIC DVD rankings.

Then, from November 2016 to 2017, they held their second dome tour - J Soul Brothers III LIVE TOUR 2016-2017 "METROPOLIZ".
They released their best hits album "THE JSB WORLD" on March 29. Several nationwidely popular songs drew wide attention again.
In September, they started the "UNKNOWN METROPOLIZ" TOUR which was a sequel to the "METROPOLIZ" TOUR and held 10 performances at Tokyo Dome.
As their 37 dome shows held throughout the year attracted over 1.482 million viewers, J Soul Brothers III became a group that attracted the greatest number of viewers on live shows in one year.

They released the original album "FUTURE" in June 2018 after 2 years.
