He began to learn to dance from an early age and from 2011 served as a back-up dancer for GENERATIONS.
He made his major debut as a performer of GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE in November 2012.

He serves as a supervisor of EXPG STUDIO, a school nurturing people who want to become artists such as dancers, singers, actors and all types of performers opened by EXILE, who has always been pursuing dreams, with the desire to provide children with a place where dreams come true. He is also the director of Girls Dance Project "I AM ME." Not only is he a skillful dancer, he's one of the members that puts a lot of passion into his dance.
He made his acting debut in the movie "HiGH&LOW THE WORST" released in 2019 and tried his hand at the reading drama BOOK ACT "Geinin Koukan Nikki" for the first time in February 2020.
In January 2022, he presented for the first time a new type of live performance "Nakatsuka Yuta no Multidance ~Tajigen Yuta wo Omiseshimasu~" which explores new possibilities of dance. Once a year, he takes on the challenge of planning and directing a work of his own. In 2024, the performance was presented at Sunshine Theatre on February 7.
He has been serving as the 2nd president of EXPG HIGH SCHOOL since April 2024. In the same year, he started his regular appearance as Rep. of group battles on Japan's first dance battle entertainment show CX "R4 STREET DANCE" (Season 1). On TBS program "Sono Michi no Professional ga Erabu Hontou no No.1 Professional Ranking", he took 4th place in the Thirties Category. His amazing dancing skills have gained much attention.

Apart from his artist activities and training projects, he is expanding his scope by trying his hand in other fields, such as product supervision, including the joint release of the sake"AKABU Nakatsuka Junmai Daiginjo" with AKABU SAKE.
