PROFILE
Yukio Ogawa is a professional surfer who is known by the nickname "Happy Man" same as the meaning of his name "Yukio".
He admires his two elder brothers (Yoshihiro & Naohisa) who are professional surfers and aims to be a professional surfer as well.
He passed the professional exam at the age of 19.
He participates in surfing competitions held not only in Japan, but also in Hawaii, Australia and many other places around the world.
In 2021, he represented Japan in E-PRO Online Surfing Championship Global Final.
He carries out various activities to popularize surfing including teaching surfing to children in his hometown Kamogawa and other places.
