PROFILE

She was born on January 11 in Tokorozawa, Saitama Prefecture.
She graduated from KUNITACHI COLLEGE OF MUSIC SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL OF MUSIC and Department of Piano of the same college.
She completed the doctoral program at the GRADUATE SCHOOL OF NIHON UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF ART.

She received a diploma for the summer seminar at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna in 2000.
She was chosen as one of the world's top 6 soloists at the 21st Chopin Festival organized in Austria in 2005.
In the same year, after being chosen as one of Chanel Japan's "first generation of artists" and returning to Japan, she participated in Chanel Pygmalion Days, and held a solo concert at Chanel Ginza Hall which gained wide acclaim.
In 2008, she released her solo album "Yumemi" with Chopin's masterpieces and original pieces as well as 3 works of "Classical Piano Selection" series with classical covers of songs by pops artists. Her albums "NON-STOP CHOPIN" and "J-POP Classical Selection Gakufushuu" came out in 2009.

She is also dedicated in composing and producing music for "NIKKEI Plus 10", "Kotani Maoko no KANDAN" and many other TV programs. The commercial songs of Akita Shuzo were mostly created by her. She also created and performed music for the video work "Rin-ne" which was directed by film director Naomi Kawase for Kasuga Grand Shrine and screened at Nara International Film Festival in 2016.

She initiated project "LNoL" which broke the stereotype of classical piano and presented a new type of music. VERBAL (m-flo/PKCZ®) and Shinichi Osawa (MONDO GROSSO) participated in its first work.
The digital album "Equanimity" was released in 2019. The first press analog record of this album was released at the same time. The 7-minute music video for its title song "Equanimity" was called a conceptual artwork. Moreover, the music video for "TAYUTAU" where Crystal Kay participated as a guest vocalist also raised heated discussions.

In 2019, a unit consisting of 9 young soloists was formed under "MUTIA", a project to support young musicians from audition proposed by Takemura. She presented a solo performance at SUNTORY HALL Blue Rose and appeared in many concerts and events afterwards. Moreover, Yaeko Takemura also served as a regular presenter of the radio program "OTTAVA" with MUTIA.

Apart from music activities, she also appeared on many TV and radio programs. On "Karei Naru Geijutsu no Miyako Vienna Ongaku wo Meguru Nihon to no Kouryuu" (BS-TBS), she appeared as a reporter and performed the theme song written by herself. In 2013, she began to serve as an MC, composer and performer on the music-talk show "Hitokado." (BS Fuji). So far, many guests including Mari Natsuki, Keiko Kishi, Keiko Toda, Tomoko Yamaguchi, astronaut Naoko Yamazaki, Agnes Chan and Homare Sawa (former member of Japan women's national football team) have appeared on this program.

In 2012, she created piano lessons called "Takemura Method" by herself based on the brain science. Under her guidance, children have won awards in various competitions and enrolling in music schools. The lessons also received wide acclaim from executives. In 2013, she released her DVD book "Otona no Piano Chounyuumon Hajimete demo Ikkagetsu de Chopin ga Hikeru!" (SEKAIBUNKA PUBLISHING) which ranked first in the music book category on Amazon.

Moreover, in 2020, she opened a music education class for preschoolers "KEYS MUSIC CLASS" in EXPG STUDIO BY LDH and has been supervising the curriculum that fosters "the ability to enjoy and love music".

From November of the same year, she has been serving as a speech instructor of Miss Universe Nagano and as a chief advisor of "Miss Wine" where she served as a judge since the establishment of the entity.

Thank you very much for your continued support to our artists and talents.

Regarding letters and presents given to our artists and talents, there are some instructions listed as below.
Please read the notice listed below and we appreciate your cooperation.

Because it may take some time for artists to get your presents, perishables (food and drink, plants, living things) are not accepted.
In addition, please refrain from sending the following presents.

■Things that will not be accepted
・Perishables (foods, plants, living things, etc.)
・Money or cash vouchers (including coupon ticket, catalog gift, prepaid card, etc.)
・Expensive things
・Things applied on the skin (cosmetics, perfume, bath salt, medicine, sanitary goods, heat pads)
・Dangerous articles (gunpowder, fireworks, knives)
・Charms & amulets
・Electrical appliances

For safety reasons, our staff will open your letters and presents as soon as we receive them. After checking we will give them to artists. Depending on the contents, your presents may be returned or disposed based on the judgment of the administration office.
In principle, we will not accept requests to specify the date of giving them to artists, to check whether the gift has been given to the members or not or for details about returning letters and presents you have sent.
Please note that the contents listed above are also applied to "sending presents" and "putting presents in the gift box at event venue or theater".

We will help you to convey your support and love to our artists and TV personalities as much as possible, so please cooperate with us on this matter.

Furthermore, we have received many requests and inquiries via fan letters and inquiry emails from many people all over the country to our artists, TV personalities and company.
Since it is hard for us to respond to all of them, we basically refuse personal requests.
