PROFILE
In 2007, he was chosen to join J Soul Brothers II.
On March 1, 2009, he officially joined the EXILE performer team.
In 2011, he started carrying out activities as part of "THE SECOND from EXILE" together with Keiji Kuroki, TETSUYA, NESMITH and SHOKICHI.
In 2013, his English speaking skills landed him a stint to do the regular appearances as MC on NHK ETV's "Little Charo 4 New York Again". Apart from English he is also proficient in Mandarin Chinese.
He is steadily expanding his horizons as an actor, with the bulk of his activities focused on stage plays and dramas.
In April 2015, he successfully played Count Don Dracula in the first stage adaptation of Osamu Tezuka's masterpiece "DON DRACULA". In September, he played the lead role in the LaLa TV's special drama "Oretachi ga Propose Dekinai no ni wa, Mitsu no Riyuu shika Nakute da na". In October, he made an appearance in NTV's "HiGH&LOW THE STORY OF S.W.O.R.D."
In 2016, "THE SECOND from EXILE" changed its name to "EXILE THE SECOND" and with EXILE AKIRA joining the group they officially started carrying out activities.
In June 2019, he played the main role of Akihiko Chuzenji in the stage play "Mouryou no Hako".
