Nobuyuki Suzuki appears in TBS Tuesday drama "Diary of a Surgical Resident Madoka"!

Telling a story about the growth of a female doctor, this drama depicts 2 meaningful years in her life during which she and her colleagues, who entered the hospital at the same time as her, hold an optimistic attitude towards life while encouraging each other, though she is confused over the changed medical field on account of reforms in working modes in the Reiwa period!!

Nobuyuki Suzuki plays Takeru Kanno who is a surgeon working on medical instruction at the hospital where the protagonist Madoka lands her first internship job.
Surgeon Kanno is a calm and disciplined person admired by medical interns.
As a workaholic, he is strict with medical interns as well as himself. Though difficult to get close to in some ways, he is very kind to patients and sometimes shows gentle smiles.
In a huge contrast to these, he has a poor sense of direction...!?

【Nobuyuki Suzuki's Comment】
The role Kanno that I play seldom reveals his emotions. He shares the same major with Madoka and other medical interns and is a bit older than them. I will try my best to interpret a role that can back them up.
This is my first time to play a surgeon. I am making various preparations for this role while picturizing his image in my mind.
Doctors in the healthcare field save many lives and are representatives of reliability. I will go to extraordinary lengths to deliver the reliability of Kanno as well.
This drama shows changes in the medical field on account of developments in this era. I hope it will provoke your thoughts.
