Takanori Iwata will appear in ABC TV's drama, "FOREST", which will be aired from 22:15 every Sunday!

Kaede, who works at a flower gift shop, and Jun, who runs a laundry, are lovers and have been living together for almost a year.

The two lead an ordinary yet happy life, but a shadow of anxiety constantly looms over them every day.
This is because they have both been telling each other certain "lies".
Eventually, that anxiety becomes reality, and their modest happiness built on those "lies" begins to crumble.

Their daily lives change completely, and gradually the truths are revealed to the light of day.
Among them is a serious secret that could tear their love apart...

What future will Kaede and Jun choose when they learn each other's past and true selves that have been hidden by "lies"?

Takanori Iwata will act as Jun Ichinose!

Q. Please tell us about your enthusiasm for this drama.
I am excited about this new challenge of playing a role in a "love suspense drama" with an original script.
I feel very motivated and happy to be able to create a work with the new team members I have met.

Q. It is the first time for you to appear in a work with Higa. What is your impression of her?
I feel there is a lot to learn from her straightforward and cheerful personality and her sincere approach to the work.
I am confident that with Higa we can create a great drama in the following filming which will last for a long time.

Q. Message to viewers
As the story progresses, the relationship between the characters becomes more and more complicated.
Can you continue to believe and love the person you love even when they are covered in lies?
I hope viewers can enjoy both the love story and the suspense elements.
