Yui Tamura's popular love comedy manga "Mr. Yano's Ordinary Days" (serialized in "Comic DAYS") that depicts the daily life of students centering upon a super unlucky high school boy and a worried high school girl has been adapted into a live-action movie!
Yusei Yagi plays high school boy Tsuyoshi Yano with super bad luck who somehow gets injured every day!
FANTASTICS's new song "Yellow Yellow" has been selected as the theme song!
The colorful and happy chorus of the theme song expresses the importance and wonderfulness of noticing the happiness and brightness in the unusual moments of daily life and positively spending ＜ordinary but special＞ days. With gorgeous brass sounds that are beckoning and joyful, and piano sounds that make you feel light steps, which are both impressive, the theme song is a refreshing pop song that will make you start to hum along with it.

★Yusei Yagi / as Tsuyoshi Yano
"Yano-kun no Futsuu no Hibi" is a work in which I play a lead role alone for the first time. I was very much anticipated but also felt stressful for shouldering the responsibility of a lead actor. Director Shinjo and other staff members are all very kind. The cast members I worked with are all new to me. It is a stimulating and harmonious shooting site filled with laughter.
Yano, the character which I play, is a pure and frank youngster, though clumsy. I went to extraordinary lengths to deliver Yano's pureness and daily life with his fantastic friends. In addition, as Yano has bad luck, he encounters many accidents and gets injured many times in life! (lol)
With comedic elements, frightening tension and captivating moments, it is an original work which will allow viewers to reminisce on pure intentions of youth and to have a good time from different perspectives. Be sure to enjoy it in movie theatres!
【Yusei Yagi's Comment on Theme Song】
This time, FANTASTICS sing the theme song for the movie "Yano-kun no Futsuu no Hibi" featuring me.
When I listened to the demo, I felt that it was a very happy and magnificent song.
Even so, I sang very carefully for the rap parts and the parts that should be presented seriously. I was conscious of giving a cool and stylish impression when I recorded the song.
The lyrics express the ideas that everything that is taken for granted is not guaranteed to continue forever, and that everything in life will happen inevitably, and that I will be happy even on ordinary days as long as you are there.
There are the parts where all the members of FANTASTICS sing together. This is one of the highlights of the song I like!
It was one of my activity goals to sing the theme song for a movie starring myself, so I am very honored to be able to make it happen.
It is a memorable song for me, as it reminds me of the movie every time I sing or listen to it!
