Hokuto Yoshino and Airi Suzuki will play the lead roles in the movie "Sakuya wa Yareta Kamo" to be released nationwide on 10/23/2026 (Fri.)!

The movie "Sakuya wa Yareta Kamo" is adapted by Namiya Fujiishi, who is the author of the "Imakara Anata wo Kyohaku shimasu" series, and Yume Tsujido, who is winner of the Excellence Award in the 13th "Kono Mystery ga Sugoi!" for "Inakunatta Watashi e".
It is a never-before-seen mystery entertainment work that unfolds a story from alternative perspectives of a couple who appear to be in deep love and live happily but respectively have secrets.

Hokuto Yoshino plays Mitsuhiro Fujido, a former gangster who has not revealed his true identity to his wife, living his daily life as an ordinary salaryman and devoted husband.

Moreover, the song "Zombie in Love" that HOKUTO (Hokuto Yoshino) invited Airi Suzuki to sing with him has been selected as the theme song of the movie!
The theme song "Zombie in Love" sung by HOKUTO and Airi Suzuki is a pop tune, leaving a deep impression on listeners via its addictive and catchy melody as well as the speedy sound that is reminiscent of Vocaloid.
The delightful call and response of the two as well as the catchy lyric "Koroshitai Hodo Aishiteru (I love you so much I could kill)" strengthen the charm of the song, driving listeners to put it on a loop.

When I read the script, I was immediately drawn in by the fast-paced storyline and the unique characters.
In this movie, I challenged myself with a rather unrestrained performance, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Mitsuhiro Fujido is a character who, beneath his cool exterior, possesses strong convictions and passion, and I consciously tried to portray that contrast.
I quickly became close with Airi Suzuki and I learned a lot from how she cheerfully created a lively atmosphere on the shooting site.
The movie has a fast pace and moments that will make you chuckle, so please enjoy it at the theater!
